Day 8 by ~h

Back in Pattaya,

It’s dirty, it’s smelly, it’s chaotic and there is no rhyme or reason as to why I love this place so much. All I know is that the two days I spent away from here all I thought about was how much I wanted to return. Pattaya is the old Wild West in South East Asia. A democracy with no controls, gone wild. A beach town that seems to have appeared with very little planning. A place that sprung up because people needed a place to unleash their wildest fantasies. You can tell it is not a community who are fearful of being sued. Everywhere you look you would cringe if you’re a city planner from the U.S. Little to no building regulations, virtually no traffic rules, prostitution, no child protection as far as I could see, sidewalks that are so crooked and un-evan people are tripping at every moment. An American attorney’s wet dream.

Perhaps it’s the almost lawless clandestine nature of the place that
is so attractive to me. I’ve always been attracted to the unexpected.
Where others might see ugliness I see lots of beauty in the seediness,
so much beauty that I need to have my camera with me at all times. A
photo safari of sorts. Much as the American R Crumb (great movie) comic
artist saw beauty in the chaos of power lines in a city or his sexual
obsession with women and large asses I’m seeing the art through the
chaos. Whether it is the assaulting signage that exist everywhere or
the family of four perched on a motorbike, or a Ying in skin tight mini
shorts and a tube top walking in the middle of the street, there is no
doubt about it for me this place is rich with images not seen with
these American eyes.

And that’s why I’m back.

Not to mention to track down #111. I guess I’m becoming another
statistic. Sorry gentlemen but I’m hunkering down for a few days with a
Ying who passed the test for me. Cute, funny, easy to be with,
possessing skills I have never experienced before. Not that I’m giving
up on the hunt, but for this brief moment I got a good thing going so
why jeopardize it ?butterflying” as the yings say. I’ve done an entire
week of buterflying now I’m taking comfort in a Thai relationship. I
know it is a contradiction, but this place is a living, breathing
contradiction in itself.

I tracked down #111. I took her to King Seafood, we talked and ate
locale specialties that she ordered. After dinner we went to a disco on
Walking St. followed by SuperBaby Go Go looking for # 5 to see if we
could drum up a three way. I may be smitten but I’m not stupid,
after-all we are in Pattaya. No luck in that department #5 was on
holiday (day off) and being Monday the place kind of dead.

So we walked back to my place and I asked her many questions about
her trade. Suprisingly she was very open to answering my probing
questions about the sex trade in Pattaya. This girl is one smart cookie
and told me some very personal views that are too time consuming to
write about now.

Perhaps in the novel. After another hour of chatting, she comes over to me and says
?You
too serious”, kisses me and says ?You have Powa” This is Thai for can
you get it up, please me and get it up again, maybe? I say ?Yeah I got
Powa”. Off to the showers; read ?Day Four” if you feel like rehashing
some of the more intimate details. That’s all for now, I need give #111
a morning kiss and bring her fresh fruit.

Thai style….
