Normal service is resumed.. finally.

There has been too much going on to go into great detail… I’ll try and cover as much as I can remember.  Sorry if I missed people out – who deserve a mention.

Not sure what order this lot happened but this is what I was involved in or know of.

First of all, a big thanks to all the people who showed up at the mango to make it all a good time.  These times would not be as great if we didn’t all do our bit.  The Big Mango being something we all have in common, so hooking up at Mango is ideal.

Right then, we covered the arrival of myself and YP.  That’s all old news.

Most days we’ve been hanging in the Mango and seeing what turns up.  And several people did!    We’ve met a new bunch of CANADIANS who I have to say were great guys.  I hope we see them again.   WW has been on the scene, but doesn’t seem himself of late. I can only assume he’s worried about YP’s welfare – as we all are.

Bruce came to visit us – top guy, little naïve when it comes to the honeys, but I guess we were all like that once, and we have to learn the hard way.

So most nights after we get a nice little group with momentum going, we head out to the Plaza.  Much to annoyance of Kwan my Thai partner as I more or less empty the bar each night!  I figure that if we are good hosts, then you’ll come back right?  I hope!

Each night I’ve been doing a Nana run.  Some of the guys that join our group are new to the scene, so it’s just great to see their faces when entering a gogo.  I’ve forgotten how many times I’ve given a basket of pingpong balls to the lads to chuck on stage this week.  Good fun.

Straps – I know the owners well.  The staff are great and the coyote dancers pretty hot.  It can be quiet when you go in there, but don’t let that put you off.  All gogo’s are empty at some point of the night.  Dive in, buy a drink and have a little flirt!  The only problem I find with coyote dancers is the ‘serious’ faces they adopt when dancing.  Smile!!  It puts us at ease!

Anglewitch is next on the tour.  There is not much I can say about Anglewitch that hasn’t always been said.  The only times I’ve done an about-turn and left the place is because there were no seats available.  Dave-the-rave is always around somewhere and has welcomed my group each time.  For new guys getting a drink from a top gogo is something that sticks in their mind.  Thanks Dave for making the guys feel welcome!

About an hour in, I head to Pretty Lady to see our girls.  I call them ‘our girls’ as the money we’ve thrown their way feels like I’ve been divorced by them.  Always making the team feel welcome.  Not the prettiest of girls, but they do have a great attitude.

After Pretty Lady is where I usually bow out and let the guys fend for themselves having seen how it all works and what you can get upto.  I head back to HQ and see whats occurring.  Many times one of the group has come back with a barfine for a few drinks. – Great

-       This has pretty much been the script for the past week.  Whilst it may not sound too exciting, believe me, it’s been great fun.  A great atmosphere in the Mango and many new friends have been made.

So let me put a little mention to the people that  have passed through lately –

There was an elderly English (Yorkshire?) couple the otherday having some dinner in the Mango – not the usual guests we have here.  They’ve been coming to Bangkok for over 30 years!  Wow!  Loveley people who even know of the blog and mentioned YP!  A bonus to them was that I pointed him out as he was standing in the corner – drunk!

Big Tony – In and out a lot. He’s no stranger.  Always good to see him. He’s never in one place for long and always looking for action.

Debt Star – Super nice chap and long term Mango pal.  Pity he didn’t manage to stop by on his last night as we planned to take him out and give him something to think about until his next visit!

nurseRon – We all know(of)him…  In and out and all over the place.  Knows how to have fun and knows where to find it.  For those of you that have been out with him, you’ll know when he’s just about to go ‘large’ and things start to get messy!

-       That’s the point of no return.  Run like forrest gump when that happens, or stay around for the ride.

Nick the Boxer (and his mate – sorry I forget)  these guys came in from a recommendation from Lionel. Another long term Mango pal.  Only around for one night – but enough time to have a little tour.  I believe you guys had some fun?!  Hope to see you again!

SJW flew in for a day… hung with YP (most of us were out of town) and then flew in a week later for a weekend!  The guy lust love flying?  Good to see him, and I was happy to walk in the opposite direction from him, YP and pmmp at 4am as they went to Insomnia.   They were on a mission to hit it hard and I was on a mission of self preservation.

WW has been seen a fair bit – mainly due to being stood up by YP.

Kevin from England – in and out of the Mango for the past week.  Nice guy. Maybe a little too nice, as he was worried about hurting a girls feelings at a bar when he said he’s come back later – and didn’t.   Kev, read that book!

Bruce – I have a post being written all about him!!

Jamie – they English guy – doesn’t really join the group, but a nice guy, everyone likes him.  Thanks for joining in the fun on Party night.

Resident Ernie. – Veteran of Bangkok. Not much we can say about him.  A private man, but knows his stuff for sure.  The night of the party when there were 5 girls taking clothes off on the 2^nd floor, Ernie kept the girls entertained whilst the ‘lads’ stood at the back of the room talking about giggabites and things.  Shame on you lads!

ROLLN – didn’t really get to hang with him much.  We were both in Pattaya at the same time, but I was spending time with the staff, so spent the time there sitting on a beach and watching what looked like a sea food eating competition.

However, knowing now what ROLLN and his crew got upto, I had a much safer time!

Jonas – all I can say about him is that YP needs to take a long hard look at him – if he wants to see what he’ll end up looking like in 10 years time.  Jonas is the only person that we know that will call YP up after a 2 day session telling him to wake up and get on the booze.

It’s always nice to see Spats… but I think he should change his name to Cinderella as he is always home and tucked up in bed by the stroke of 10pm (let alone midnight)

James from Vegas.  Another regular who is in and out everyday.  Thanks for  supporting us.

Not leaving pmmp out of this… but he doesn’t need any shout outs.  The only thing I’d like to thank him for is getting one of the Pretty Lady girls so drunk one night, she couldn’t come to our party.  In fact, pmmp is responsible for getting many people drunk and leaving them missing in action.

My brain is now hurting, trying to recap on all that has gone on.  I am hoping YP may churn out a story or two –   I am now in London and the time is 6am.  It’s time I caught up with the sleep that I’ve been deprived of.    YP is also home and his mother commented on how much weight he’s dropped.  She was informed that this comes from eating healthily like most Thai’s.

So chaps, you’ll all been upto something.  If you can find the time edit out all the illegal parts of it and put it down on paper (you know what I mean) then send it in for us all to cringe at.
