First up was the Saturday house party. 30 or so folks from around town and the region. First thing one notices in Singapore, as compared to Thailand, is the variety. Just like HK these is the smorgabobs of ying. Sing girls, Chinese girls, Viet, Flip, Indian, white girls, African girls and so on and so forth. Its great. Variety is the spice of life.

House party was as you would suspect. Tons of corp like folks, tons of booze and good fun. I got hammered and my glass turned to kryptonite. As always in chasing normal tail it takes a few calls or dates but there is plenty of action to be had.

So we ended up in one of the first floor flip bars. The Indos crave dick. But anyway. The buzz was setting in and the place was fun. For me though – this was just not my scene. All I could think of was how many donuts the flips eat before breakfast. Drunk guys holding each other up, people drinking on the sidewalks, guys arguing with girls and girls carrying each other to taxis. Was surreal. I felt like I was home.

I hit a salon to get the noggin shaved, had some grub and watched the scene. Awesome. There is some big club there but it seems to not open on Sundays – maybe the staff is too smashed to work?

Monday night I hit Orchard again just to do some more research. The busiest place was Ipanema and seemed to be full of all the variety. Viet, Thai, Chinese, Sing, Indo and so on. deterred. I started off at Brix which is the basement of the Grand
Hyatt. It is supposed to be filled with women and all of the books
said it was good. However, on Thursday night there were about five
people there. The cover is S25, but they let me take a look before I
paid. Looked nice, but Thursday is not the night to go so I left
without having a drink. I hear that Wednesday and Friday are great,

After that I went to the Bar None in the basement of the Marriott.

and it was filled when many places were empty. It is also packed with

section. It costs a little more to get into the VIP section, but it is
worth it. The first floor is pretty mellow and the VIP section on the
second floor is very cool with a great dance floor. It doesn’t really
get going until after midnight, and I wouldn’t go there before then.

There were more farang here than at the other clubs on Wednesday, but
it was still predominantly Singaporean. There were no working girls to
speak of. I had to be up early and it seemed like too much work to
hook up, so I called it a night. It was a good place to hang/dance and
you can definitely hook up with a normal sing girl if you put in some

Really a cool place if you like the big clubs. There were many hot
Singaporean women and very little farang. I tried to pick up and I

every intention of going back to Insomia. We passed my hotel on the

When you leave Bangkok you remember how much you miss it. I had

They are great for international rates. You can call Thailand for 22
cents/minutes and can call the US for 20 cents/minute. Just dial 019
first to get the best rate. You can buy the card at any 7/11.

I had dinner at the Marriott street level restaurant on Orchard Road.
Good for people watching. I decided that it was best to stay in for
the night (In reality I went back to my room at 8:00pm and passed out
with my clothes on until 10:00am). That was ok, because Wednesday is
ladies night in Singapore. This means that ladies get free cover and
drink at most places.

I started off at the Clarke Quay River which I thought would be good
but was dead. Then I went to the Dbl O near by. It has a bar and a
club inside. It was S25 (one drink included) cover for men while women
have free drinks and no cover. There were a tremendous amount of
hot-nonworking Asian women. Not many farang men were there. I was
surprised when I ordered my second absolute and soda to find out that
the drinks were only S3. Really a good deal considering a 12oz Tiger
beer costs S4 at 7/11.

Next I went to Zouk, which encompasses 3 clubs. Same S25 cover and
deal for women. Drinks after that were about S8, still not bad. I

the morning, once again non-working girls. After being in Bangkok for

space is nothing special, but is open until 5:00. They had a band
playing and when I got there and people were on the dance floor and
sitting at the tables. It was filled with hot Asian women and farang
men. Definitely a pickup place.

I really only planned to stay here for a little bit as I wanted to see
more of the Singapore scene. I talked/ danced with a pretty Filipino
