UFC 109 ‘Relentless’ comes along Feb 6, from The Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. 109 comes off the injury cursed 108 event, which despite the less than impressive line-up, delivered some great fights, and here’s hoping we see more of the same here. Right, lets do this……..

Randy ‘The Naural’ Couture vs Mark ‘The Hammer’ Coleman

This is a fight that would of been good a decade ago, but has no business taking place now. The combined age of these 2 fighters? 91! That’s circus shit. I just see this as another fight to pad Randy Couture’s less-than-stellar 17-10 record.

UFC 108 Preview by Young Penfold

The latest UFC card comes along this Saturday night from Las Vegas. This isn’t the most ’stellar’ card of the year, but the list of injuries and replacements that the UFC have endured, is significantly longer than longmint of longmint.com fames money-maker, from gooch to the japseye, and back again.

Fights such as Brock Lesnar v. Shane Carwin, Anderson Silva v. Vitor Belfort, Nogueira v. Valasquez, Cantwell v. Matyushenko were all planned, but scrapped, and the likes of Gabriel Gonzaga, Carlos Condit and Sean Sherk (amongst others) have also cried off due to injury.

Although this card lacks typical ’star-power’ I predict this card will be a ’sleeper’ and provide some good action.
