The Peep Inn 2 :: Short Time Hotel :: Bangkok

Apart from Tokyo I don’t know of another country with so many hotels specifically setup for short-term accommodations. In Japan they are called love hotels and in Thailand they are called short-time hotels. Bangkok must have hundreds of them – the easiest way to tell is the curtains covering the parking spots. These hotels were primarily designed for the Thais to meet up with their Thai side-salads for an afternoon break so to speak. Of course now they are used by all sorts of people looking to meet up with the gik or take their recent barfine somewhere other than to their own pad. Many of you may be used to the PB or the Penthouse hotels off of Soi 11. There is also the Peep Inn on Sukhumvit Soi 33 – I think this is the first one. Anyway – got a call while I was out working the other day and decided we would meet at The Peep Inn, purely for research purposes.

Quick side note – Thailand Guru has this write up about short-time hotels but I think it is way off. It states that it is only used by customers and prostitutes and that no good girls would go there. Well I for one know of office girls and uni girls who use them for hook up places and I am sure married spouses who are fooling around with non-prostitutes use them as well. I also think rich Thai guys who have girlfriends on the side also do. Granted there are levels of quality with these hotels. Something like the Peep is a step up from the PB. I was also told of some members only short-time hotel near Ratchada that the Thai guys use given it does not look like a short-time joint. I need to find out where this one is.

The Peep Inn is kind of cool since they have everything from themed rooms, orgy rooms and supposedly some rooms with fake zoo animals watching you. I went for one of the themed rooms. I wanted the Skytrain room tp help fulfill the fantasies I have when I am on the train looking at some uni hotties. I figured since the girl was meeting me in her uni uniform then all I needed was the skytrain room. No such luck since it seemed someone else had stolen my idea given the room was full. So I took the star room. The rooms are 540 for 3 hours – pricey but that is a longer time frame than most places and the room was nicer than most as well.

For those at home and those unfamiliar with short-time hotels I thought I would include lots of pics so u can get a sense of these places. I was there in the late afternoon on a weekday and most of the rooms were taken. Everything is designed for some level of privacy and ease of use so to speak. Hence the covered parking places and the pass through door for delivering needed essentials like food and supplies. The pass through trap door is great since I can just envision the naked dude or chick waiting for their food to come after banging.

The Peep Inn theme rooms are a little old-school but kind of fun. The rooms are still in good shape and u get quite the assortment of stuff. Free Pepsi, Chang beer, water and a snack. Plus 2 free toothbrushes with the Peep Inn engraved on them. Soap, towels, shower cap, and 2 condoms. All in all not bad. If you go to your girl’s room and u see a Peep Inn toothbrush you might want to make sure your girl is getting enough.

Will end with some shots of the room, the price list for the themed rooms and the price list for the party rooms. The party rooms are huge. They have a central hot tub, 2 bedrooms with tubs, a karaoke area and a sex swing. The Peep has tiered pricing depending on the time of the day. All in all short-time hotels are a pretty common fixture in Bangkok. What I have noticed though is you never see any new ones getting built.
